Our extensive catalog features over 50 varieties of chickens to meet every possible need and preference. For the egg enthusiast, we offer some of the most productive layers available anywhere, with certain breeds consistently delivering 300+ eggs per year. Meat bird customers can choose from our selection of fast-growing hybrids or slower-maturing heritage breeds prized by gourmet chefs. Those seeking dual-purpose birds will find our carefully maintained breeding lines produce exceptional specimens that excel in both egg production and meat quality. We also maintain one of the most diverse collections of rare and ornamental breeds in the country, preserving genetic diversity while offering backyard keepers truly unique additions to their flocks..

Quality You Can Trust
In our dual-purpose category, we’ve painstakingly preserved and improved upon classic American farmstead breeds. Our Buff Orpingtons, for example, come from a 20-year breeding program focused on enhancing both egg production (up to 220 large brown eggs annually) and meat qualities. The Sussex in our program maintain their legendary table qualities while now laying significantly more eggs than traditional lines. We’re particularly proud of our New England Red program – a carefully developed strain that combines excellent cold tolerance with outstanding production in both eggs and meat.

Rare & Ornamental Breeds: Living Art for Your Farm

Our rare and ornamental poultry collection represents one of the most comprehensive in North America. The Silkies we offer include several unique color variations not commonly found elsewhere, including paint and splash patterns. Our Polish chickens come in both standard and rare color varieties, with careful attention paid to maintaining proper crest formation. For serious collectors, we offer limited quantities of extremely rare breeds like the Onagadori (known for tail feathers growing up to 6 feet annually) and the Ayam Cemani with its striking all-black appearance.
